RAYMOND-CASCO HISTORICAL MUSEUM
Route 302, Casco, Maine
OPENS FOR 2016 SEASON
The Raymond-Casco Historical Museum opened its doors to the public for another exciting summer, on Saturday, May 28. Hours will be Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday, from 1-3 pm on all 3 days through September 4. As always, there is no admission fee; however we do encourage any donation which you feel comfortable contributing to help ensure our continued well being and stability.
The museum consists of three buildings: the main museum, which houses our offices and a large collection of historic photographs, tools and implements, a newly restored barn that contains many larger items of yesteryear such as farm equipment, and the classic antique automobile barn. For an affordable event with a lot to offer, consider dropping in this summer. For those of you who have already been to the museum, please consider returning again this summer as we have much more to share than ever before!
For more information on RCHS or any event listed call Frank McDermott at 207-655-4646 or Pam Grant 655-2438
Summer Speaker Program
All of the following will be held at 7:00 PM at the RCHS Museum unless otherwise stated. Admission is free.
Past events are greyed out.
Windham Historical Society - Monday, June 13 at 7:00 PM
Linda Griffin, representing our "sister" society in Windham, will share information about projects and activities in Windham.
Antique Appraisals - Weds, August 10 at 5 PM
Harry W. Hepburn III, a licensed and bonded appraiser and auctioneer, has been a noted and respected antiques dealer since 1971. He is a particular authority on early clocks, period furniture and accessories. His previous appearances at our museum have been well-attended so we recommend you arrive early.
Harry will share his extensive knowledge of antiques and offer opinions on items the audience may have brought or described. Although there is no admission charge, we request a donation to the RCHS of $5 per item appraised.
Town Office Invitational Mixer - Sat., Sept. 10 at 1:00 PM
We are inviting all town officials from Raymond and Casco to a mixer at the museum. Refreshments will be served. The purpose is to thank the towns for their support and acquaint attendees with the resources the museum has to offer.
Please check back here later for announcements of future speaker programs
